Getting Started
Open the tool
Section titled “Open the tool”Go to app.scenariopulse.com. No sign-in required to run projections.
If the service has been idle, the first request may take 30–60 seconds to wake it up — a progress screen will appear automatically.
Run a scenario
Section titled “Run a scenario”- Choose a scenario — currently
ru_baseline(Russia, baseline assumptions). - Set the base year — the starting year of the projection (default: 2020).
- Set the horizon year — how far to project (default: 2050).
- Adjust sex ratio at birth — ratio of male to female births (default: 1.05).
- Click Run.
The projection appears on the chart within seconds.
Read the chart
Section titled “Read the chart”The chart shows two lines per scenario:
- Solid line — pension recipients (beneficiaries) by year.
- Dotted line — total population by year.
The Y-axis shows the number of persons.
Add a second scenario
Section titled “Add a second scenario”Change one or more parameters and click Run again. The new scenario is added to the chart alongside the first — this is the “fan of forecasts”. You can add as many scenarios as you like.
